Sunday Symposium

Industry Leaders

Daniel Gross is an entrepreneur and investor.

Daniel was born in Israel. When he was 18, he was accepted into Y-Combinator, being the youngest founder ever at the time. He founded a company called Cue, an AI-powered search engine. Cue raised multiple rounds of financing from Sequoia Capital, Index and others.

In 2013, Cue was acquired by Apple. At 22, Daniel was leading several search and AI efforts across the company spanning iOS, OS X and Apple Watch. Daniel is also an investor in Github, Coinbase, Cruise, Gusto, Embark and others.

In 2017, Daniel joined Y-Combinator as a Partner. He launched YC AI, Y-Combinator’s first vertical dedicated to investing in AI companies.

Daniel is also the co-founder of AI Grant (aigrant.org), a distributed AI research lab that has funded 50 researchers around the globe.

In 2018, Daniel founded Pioneer (https://pioneer.app). Pioneer is a search engine for the millions of “Lost Einstein’s” — extraordinarily creative people around the world who have the talent, but lack opportunity. Once identified, Pioneer and makes small investments to support whatever project they’re working on.

Roey Harari is the VP of Operations at Apester, the interactive content platform for publishers, agencies, and brands looking to connect with digital audiences. Roey joined Apester in 2016 beginning as a product manager before growing with the startup as head of product. Now, he's managing the global operations of the company.
Roey brings with him eight years experience as a Naval Officer in the IDF where he served as a commander of a Patrol boat and a Senior Instructor at The Israeli Naval Academy

Keren Kay is an award winning advertising and marketing expert with 25 years of experience.

Before moving to New York in 2017, Keren was Creative Director for McCCANN Tel-Aviv, Chief Creative Director for Publicis Tel-Aviv and was the founder of the independent communications agency, KDA. 

Keren is an enthusiastic feminist and the Co-Founder of Supersonas, an organization fighting for gender equality.

Adina Lichtman founded Knock Knock, Give a Sock during her sophomore year of college, and went into it full time after completing both an undergraduate and graducate degree in social work at NYU. KKGS is a nonprofit that collects socks for the homeless while also building relationships between neighbors through bringing them together for meals in corporate offices. Adina is in charge of the organization’s leadership and operations. Adina is motivated by her vision of a world in which people accept each other and act together to make a difference. She cares deeply about engaging others to give back and creating opportunities for this movement.

Irina Marciano is the Head of PR and Communications at Payoneer, the fintech unicorn that powers cross-border payments for companies like Amazon, Airbnb, Google, and Fiverr, along with 4 million small businesses world-wide.  In her role, Irina leads branding and external communications strategy and drives the execution of PR efforts in 14 countries around the world. Before joining Payoneer in 2016, Irina was the Marketing Director for North America for GFT Technologies, a global fintech consultancy. Prior to her life as a B2B marketer, she pursued a career in theater and television, which sparked her passion for storytelling.


Irina holds an MBA from California State University, and a Bachelor’s from UCLA. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son, and, like most millennials, loves food, Netflix, and never owning property.

Shai Reshef is the Head of Professional Services at Zebra Medical Vision, a Healthcare AI company and one of the leading providers of Machine Learning solutions for Radiology. In this position, Shai is leading global implementations of the company's solutions in hospital systems and is responsible for customers' success and technical operations. Prior to Zebra, Shai was an RnD manager at Zeek. 


Shai moved to NY from Israel in 2017 with his wife and son and holds a Master’s degree in Machine Learning from Georgia Tech.

Omry Sitner is an Excel 2012 alum and a certified lawyer with an LL.B in Law and Business. After working at a top law firm, Omry joined the startup world as a Customer Success Manager, working with strategic clients on implementing new strategies to help teams work better and achieve their goals. Currently Omry is the Head of Academic & Startup Ecosystem Partnerships at monday.com, where he creates relationships with universities, to help students become more successful. Omry is also a running enthusiast and a Crew Runner at adidas Runners so you might see him running around the world.

David Danesh is a Supply Growth Manager at Belong, the platform and hospitality experience long-term renting. David joined Belong pre-launch and is looking forward to welcoming Birthright Excel and TAMID Pro's to join the team!

David founded TAMID at Boston University in 2013. He started his career working in strategy/ops for a tech startup based in SF, then moved back to his hometown of LA to work for a real estate investment bank before joining Belong. David has been instrumental in forming TAMID's Pro initiative.

Matylda is an NYU-certified leadership coach and facilitator who supports ambitious, driven and successful trailblazers gain clarity on what’s next and how to get there faster. Her coaching, informed by neuroscience and positive psychology, draws on research on how the brain can change and what it takes to create new habits and states of being. Her clients range from seasoned professionals to new leaders and entrepreneurs who are ready to become better bosses and create a powerful legacy.


Prior to coaching, she founded Hackonauts, an innovation consultancy specializing in planning hackathons, conferences and tech events for clients and partners including Yahoo, Microsoft, Pearson, and IDEO, as well as universities, venture capital firms, and startup accelerators. Andrew Linderman is a writer, storyteller, and business coach based in New York City.  He is the founder of The Story Source, a consultancy that helps artists, business people and entrepreneurs tell compelling stories. His former clients include Google, American Express, Penguin Random House Publishing, and dozens of small businesses and startups around the world.  


Prior to founding The Story Source, Andrew taught storytelling and performance at General Assembly and New York University, and worked as a story coach with The Moth, a MacArthur award-winning non-profit dedicated to the craft of storytelling. 


Andrew trained as an actor and improviser at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Atlantic Theater Company in New York City, and is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.  Over the years, he's also worked as a city planner, a radio DJ and an economist.  He has lots of stories to tell, but promises never to tell them in the third person.
